My R15

Bought on May 26-2012 after a long wait...;-)


This is just a fresh look and it is very difficult to maintain this look...;-)

First 5000 KM Report.

I bought my R15 version 2.0 on May26th of 2012. It had clocked 5000+ kilometers in its successful 6 months. During the engine break-in period i had ridden my r15 below 4k rpm during 1st 500km and below 6-7k rpm during next 500km. I had given my bike for its 1st service after  30 days as it had clocked 1000 kilometers. The Oil,Oil filter had been changed and chain had been checked and lubricated well. It cost me around 700 Rs for my 1st service from an authorized service center.

After my 1st service I started revving up my engine to higher rpm. I used my bike for a long continuous journey of 110km at a stretch but during that single 110km stretch i had been going in a normal manner. I had traveled both with pillion and also alone.I given my bike for its second free service after 3 months as it had clocked around 3200 KMs. After that it had its 3rd free service at around 4200 km. During 2nd and 3rd service the oil had been changed but oil filter was not replaced.

I had gone upto 130kmph topspeed and over 100-110kmph several times only in supporting circumstances expecially in highways only with basic riding gears.

From the date of purchase i had received an average mileage of 43+ kmpl with a top mileage of 52kmpl on single long drive and a least of around 36kmpl for 1st 200km approx.






Now





  • Removed Rear tyre fender and Saree guard
  • Removed the front number plate holder and attached the number plate to the visor
  • Akrapovic Sticker on the exhaust cover
  • White multiple LED Pilot lamps 
  • Blue LED light at rear lamp




    After 5800km during a trip i met with an accident. During the drive while in a curve the bike slips off to the ground. Since the distance between road and ground was too big and the sand was too loose..the bike falls and at last....:-(
